Milepost 38 Model Trains opened November 10, 2001, filling the need in Orange County for a full service model train store. The location at Milepost 38 along the BNSF mainline presented a great place to watch trains on one of the nations heaviest traveled rail corridors and serve the modeling community at the same time. This location was not only exciting for rail fans but provided easy access for modelers from all over Southern California. The present location (corner of La Palma and Imperial) is 200 yards south of the MP38.0 marker. Since it's opening Milepost 38 Model Trains has served not only the local model train community but modelers worldwide who come to check out the huge selection.
Owners Jerry and Cheryl Keys, Manager Michael Ripley and our entire staff are model railroaders. We strive to help our guests enjoy the great hobby that we are fortunate enough to work in. Please stop in and see why it's called The Worlds Greatest Hobby, and why we are one of the fastest growing shops. |
